Photo Competition

We have hundreds of entries every month

This is how you can enter.

The UK Astronomy monthly photo competition is completely free to enter, but only one picture per person per month is allowed. Each month will have a different category which will be announced on our Facebook group. The idea is to get you out looking up, trying different things, learning and having fun.

Once you have chosen your winning photo entry, simply post your picture on our Facebook group page with 'Competition Entry' as the title and tag Ross Hockham.

Please also add as much information on the subject as you can – such as: where to find it, what it is and the equipment you used to capture it. This will help others to learn.

Each month is categorised to make it more fun, with a good range of subjects so there’s something for everyone from the professional to the amateur to enjoy!
