What we do

We hold events and provide educational workshops to educate, inspire and excite others.

Most teachers are not experts on astronomy, but they don't have to be. UK Astronomy can provide the expertise in a way that will excite and inspire.

Whether you are a school wanting to add something a little different to your science offering, a Scouting and Guiding organisation, or a U3A, WI or Rotary group looking for a fun, educational workshop, UK Astronomy has the perfect workshop session for you.

For Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Scouts and Beavers we can tailor a workshop to cover the content necessary for gaining the Stargazer and Astronomy badges. Workshops are a combination of talks, video footage and hands-on activities.

Costs and length of sessions can be negotiated over a cuppa to suit the size, funds and locality of your group.
